Over the last 30 years it has become increasingly difficult to obtain antique mirrors of suitable size and design in good condition and at an affordable price.
During this period we have established a reputation for making fine eighteenth and nineteenth century replicas. All the frames are hand finished in our workshops in the centre of the historic City of Bath, by our highly skilled craftsmen and are gilded in Dutch Gold or Silver Leaf with a lightly distressed, antique finish. Other finishes are available from ‘bright leaf‘ to ‘distressed dark antique’.
Taking the furnishings of the Georgian and Victorian houses in Bath, as an inspiration, we have created a collection of standard designs directly copied from period pieces which will enhance and enrich any period interior design scheme. At the same time we are very happy to copy a particular design or adapt one of our range to fit any situation.
Our finishes on the frames are painstakingly applied by hand in order to get the authentic 18th/19th century feel. The mirror plate itself can be lightly distressed so as to give the soft & slightly grey tone of old mercury mirror glass.
Bevelled edge glass mirror plates can also be supplied to order for any of our mirror frames.
We are continually expanding our range and are happy to quote for individual designs for special situations.
We also specialise in manufacturing large and very large mirrors for commercial or domestic situations.

Since every sheet of antique mirror glass is individually made and that no two sheets can ever be the same, we request that clients personally select the glass they want filled into their frame.
We have a number of sheets of glass already silvered in our Bath workshop which we can be cut to size and are available on a cash and carry basis @ £16.00 per sq ft plus vat
